Independent Living

Mow yards, provide transportation, run errands, grocery shop, change light bulbs, install adaptive living equipment and make telephone reassurance calls.

Quality of Life Programs

Deliver gifts, adopt a grandparent, write letters or cards, visit, call, and make gift or personal items.

Guardianship 

Visit clients, help in office with documentation, filing, etc.

Money Management

Pay bills, intervene with creditors, balance checkbooks, file paperwork, and help with reporting.

Adult Day Care

Visit with clients, read books, play games, help with movie time, greet clients and family members. See the calendar of day care events.

Friends for Thanksgiving

Each Thanksgiving Friends for Life, through its Friends for Thanksgiving program, prepares and delivers turkey dinners to home bound elderly and people with disabilities in the Waco area that would otherwise not celebrate this holiday. You and your family can help with either or both of the holiday programs.

Gifts for Grannies and Grandpas, Too 

Each year Friends for Life packages and delivers Christmas gift items to many seniors in Central Texas who have no family or friends with whom to celebrate the season. Area businesses, groups, churches and individuals donate gift items to wrap or package and help remember those who are alone.
